GODALMING CHRISTMAS

Every year in Godalming, Surrey the town council host a Christmas Lights festival with the switching on of the towns traditional Christmas decorations. In 2020 due to the 2nd COVID-19 Lockdown and social distancing restrictions this had to be cancelled. However the council decided the lights needed to go up and asked us to produce a video for a virtual switch on - featuring the Mayor and a countdown from local school children. A teaser video for social media was produced and dot over 4K views in the first 2 days.

The countdown video went live on Facebook and YouTube at the same time the lights were switched on. The final delivered package included stills, videos for social media and an HD video for Facebook and the Town Council website and had over 8k views on Facebook in less than 24 hours.
