Mayor's Volunteer Awards 2020

Every year the Mayor of Godalming issues awards to volunteers who had given something back to the community. In 2020 everything changed and these awards were given to organisations. Instead of the awards being presented as part of the annual report at the end of year council meeting, in Spring 2021 they were done virtually and the accompanying awards ceremony video broadcast over social media during a live zoom meeting and later distributed via YouTube. All filming was carried out with a full Covid-19 risk assessment and following industry safety guidelines.
